CHCRC

History

The Capitol Hill Community Resource Center sprang from meager beginnings but with a great potential. It was created by merging two separate organizations - The Pilgrim Resource and Referral Center (PRRC) of Pilgrim Congregational Church and Café Hospitality of Seattle First Christian Church. As the two churches joined to form All Pilgrims Christian Church so did their two agents of hope.

The PRRC initially began in 1990 as a simple referral center to help homeless and low-income residents of Capitol Hill. In June 2001 PRRC temporarily closed to undergo restructuring. Café Hospitality, in operation since 1997, continued to operate independently until CHCRC opened officially in February 2002.

The Capitol Hill Community Resource Center has a legacy that spans over a decade. We are a dedicated group with both the will and the passion to continue this much needed work.
